Landbrotalaug is a natural hot pool located in the southern part of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, only a short distance from the main road. The pool is known for its pleasant temperature and scenic surroundings.
To reach Landbrotalaug, drive approximately 41 km from Borgarfjörður. After passing the turnoff toward Blöndós, turn onto the road leading to Stóra-Hraun. Continue for about one kilometer along a road that passes an old abandoned farm.
Turn left onto a short track that leads to a small parking area. From the parking spot, the pool is easy to spot, as a stone wall has been built in a semicircle around it.
Landbrotalaug is a small and inviting pool that blends beautifully into the surrounding landscape and offers a peaceful bathing experience on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
