Lýsuhólslaug is a unique geothermal pool filled with natural mineral-rich spring water, located on the southern side of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The pool lies in a remote area, approximately 70 km from Iceland’s Ring Road, and is a popular stop for visitors seeking a peaceful bathing experience.
The pool is supplied with warm mineral water that rises directly from the ground. This water is rich in natural minerals and is believed to have beneficial and healing properties. No chemicals, such as chlorine, are added, preserving the pool’s natural character.
Lýsuhólslaug is open during the summer season and offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
