The tourist company Seatours is located in the picturesque coastal town of Stykkisholmur. Since 1986 the company began to offer boat tours between the thousands of islands in the Breidafjördur fjord. Since then the company has rapidly expanded and today is one of the largest of its kind on the west coast and one of Iceland´s main operators in the sphere of recreational tourism.

Have you ever tasted “VikingSushi”? During the main season there are about four departures a day for the sightseeing tours with this delicious highlight – you get the chance to taste the freshest scallops and sea urchin roe. Soya, wasabi and ginger make it a special sushi event for you, which you will never forget. During summer and spring you can explore the birdlife of the area close up. Puffins, cormorants and the white – tailed eagle are nesting here. The Viking Sushi Adventure is also possible in the off-season.

Seatours also runs the car ferry Baldur which forms the bridge between the Snaefellsnes peninsula to the West fjords. Come on board and relax while we are sailing and catch some beautiful views in this unique landscape.

A visit to the small charming island Flatey in the middle of the fjord is a “must-see” – you can explore the island while stopping over or as a day trip.

Our partner, Láki Tours offers “Ocean´s Big Five” whale watching from Ólafsvík next door to the Snæfellsnes National Park. This area offers the best chance in Iceland to spot the Ocean’s Big Five: Blue whales, Humpback whales, Minke whales, Fin whales and Killer whales.
