Litli-Árskógssandur is a small and peaceful village in
Dalvíkurbyggð, located along the shores of
Eyjafjörður, about 30 kilometers from
Akureyri. Around 130 people live in the
village, which has a strong connection to the sea and the surrounding
coastal landscape.
The village is an important transport link, with regular ferry services
connecting Litli-Árskógssandur to
Hrísey. The harbor becomes especially lively
