Galtahryggjarlaug is a small and undeveloped natural hot pool located in a peaceful part of the Westfjords. Surrounded by rugged mountains and wide open views, the pool offers a quiet and authentic geothermal experience.
Several other geothermal pools can be found nearby, including Hörgshlíðarlaug, Gjörvidalslaug and Nauteyrarlaug, highlighting the strong hot spring tradition of this region.
