Lágafellslaug is a popular public swimming pool complex located in
Mosfellsbær, offering excellent facilities for
visitors of all ages. The main outdoor pool is a 25-meter swimming pool suitable
for both exercise and leisure swimming.
The area features three hot tubs. Two are traditional hot tubs with temperatures
around 40–42°C, while the third is a cooler massage pool ideal for relaxation and
muscle recovery. A steam bath and sauna are also available.
For children and those seeking a calmer experience, a shallow and warm wading
pool is provided, perfect for young swimmers or relaxing on sunny days.
For added excitement, Lágafellslaug offers three water slides: one open slide
approximately 12 meters long, and two enclosed slides measuring between 33 and
43 meters. All slides end in a dedicated landing pool.
An indoor pool with an adjustable floor is used extensively for swimming lessons
and is open to the public during much of the summer season.
