Skógar Museum is one of Iceland’s largest and most comprehensive folk museums, located in the village of Skógar beneath the Eyjafjöll mountains in South Iceland.

The museum preserves the cultural and industrial history of the region with more than 15,000 artifacts, including turf houses, churches, fishing boats, tools, and household items.

Visitors can explore reconstructed turf buildings, a historic wooden church, and exhibitions depicting everyday life in Iceland during the 19th and 20th centuries.
